Coach has five children. Two lived with Coach and three with the kids’ mom* after they were faced with an inexperienced judge who had ordered the Weinhaus children banished from their then-home state of Illinois for Coach’s weekends!

As an interesting historical note, no other custodial parent in the history of the United States has parented subject to those conditions.  [It’s surprisingly fun if …]

Coach and the children oft-travel far and wide – Boston**, LA, San Diego, St. Louis, Indiana, Florida, Alabama, NY and DC. And don’t tell anybody, but also El Salvador. Shhhh!]

When the three older children went to overnight summer camp, it turned into a family affair. All six members of the family enjoyed summer camp together, where Coach volunteered as a camp sports coach and counselor (yes, that’s from where the name “Coach” originally comes), with the younger children in tow.

Whether teaching them to swim, coaching their teams, or making how-to-videos for tying shoes, Coach has dedicated himself to improving the for the benefit of his children.

*Coach often refers to her in public and private as: TBMOMCTWIOADOEG – “the blessed mother of my children to whom I owe a debt of eternal gratitude”
